Thanks for sharing your findings from this book. I also often struggle with wanting to read the Bible, and this helps me. It makes sense that a little imagination goes a long way in trying to enter into the world in which the Bible was written. Since we're so far removed from the physical experience of the biblical story, we have to do a lot of leg work to understand what was actually written and what it means for us today.
